PANTANOS DE VILLA:

Close to Lima with sandy beach and freshwater marshes.

Common: Guanay Cormorant, Osprey, Plumbeous Rail, Black-necked Stilt (September-March), Great Grebe, Pied-billed Grebe, Little Blue Heron, White-cheeked Pintail, Wren-like Rush Bird, multi-colored Rush-Tyrant, Peruvian Meadowlark, Yellow-hooded Blackbird, Yellowish Pipit

 

RED LEGGED CORMORANTS

Uncommon: Inca Tern, Harris Hawk, Peruvian Thick-knee, Snowy Plover, Western Sandpiper (October-March), Pectoral Sandpiper (October-March), Burrowing Owl, Sooty Shearwater (May-July), Yellow-hooded Blackbird, Least Bittern, Andean Duck, Dark-faced Ground-Tyrant, Grassland Yellow-Finch.

Rare: Short-billed Dowitcher, Solitary Sandpiper, Black Skimmer, Virginia Rail, Black Rail, Red-fronted Coot, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron.

AMAZILIA HUMMINGBIRD

 

LOMAS DE LACHAY:

Oasis with a nice vegetation wich concentrate a good numbers of birds species, at 105 Km. from Lima City.

Common: Coastal Miner (endemic), Mountain Parakeet, Andean Swift, Purple-collared Woodstar, Thick-billed Miner, Least Seedsnipe, Oasis Hummingbird, Grayish Miner, Grassland Yellow Finch, Raimondi`s Yellow-Finch. Black-chested Buzzard Eagle.

PUNA TEAL

 

Uncommon: Collared Warbling-Finch, Cactus Canastero, Tawny-throated Dotterel, Dark-faced Ground-Tyrant, Masked Yellow-throated, Dull-colored Grassquit, and Peruvian Sheartail.

Rare: Gray-capped Cuckoo, Chestnut-collared Swallow

 

PLUMBEOUS RAIL

 

PARACAS:

250 Km. from Licma City. This is a most important peninsula in the cost with a plenty wildlife of birds species in the Peruvian cost.

Common: Chilean Flamingo, Peruvian Booby, Red-legged Cormorant, Guanay Cormorant, Snowy Plover, Surfbird, Inca Tern, Peruvian Tern, Surf Cinclodes.

BLACK-NECKED STILT

 

Uncommon: Humboldt Penguin, Wilson's Plover, Red Phalarope, Coastal Miner.

Rare: Andean Condor, Swallow-tailed Gull, Masked Booby, Red Knot, Black Tern.
