HUACARPAY - LAKE Just 30 km from the city of Cusco, along the road to Abra Malaga, this Andean fresh water lake is characterized by marshes, arid mountain scrub, and agricultural fields. The Lake is home to Andean waterfowl, Hummingbirds, and the Bearded Mountaineer.

ABRA MALAGA 45 km from the village of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, the road to Quillabamba provides easy access to Abra Malaga.
